Barwick’s recycles green waste into a basic compost with nothing else added apart from water over a 12 week composting & turning period then screened to a 10mm minus product. Organic Compost is available for sale from both Granton & Mornington sites.

This site provides sustainable waste management solutions for companies throughout Tasmania, by taking their problem wastes and turning them into a valuable product.

Wood Waste

Barwicks is recycling wood waste into products which in turn is creating a positive impact on the environment.

Timber Waste Recycling

This is the process of turning waste timber into environmentally friendly products. Timber waste is diverted from landfill and recycled as furnace fuel and ultimately benefiting the environment.

We process timber waste from all commercial and industrial sectors including the transport sector, building trade suppliers, ship building, cabinet making, construction and demolition companies.

Starting by Mulching with the 1050hp CBI mulcher the timber waste is then transported to our processing facility at Boyer for further processing through our wood waste screening plant. The timber waste is then screened, re shredded and passing through a magnet before the final product is produced.
